Dr. Lawrence has taught research and courses on death and dying to graduate and undergraduate students for over 20 years and has been a Director of Nursing Education and Research for a large urban hospital in Connecticut. Her research and writings include an investigation of the experiences of unconscious patients, a study of near-death experiences, and a study of the incidence of deathbed communications. She has appeared ABC’s Turning Point with Diane Sawyer.
